Prominent football agent Erik Burkhardt, who counts Cardinals QB Kyler Murray among his NFL player clients, has joined Roc Nation Sports as co-Head, Football. Burkhardt will be working out of Dallas, and he started at Roc Nation Sports yesterday. He will run the NFL player and coaches representation practice alongside co-Heads and NFL agents Kim Miale and John Thornton. Burkhardt also represents Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury; both Kingsbury and Murray are expected to be joining Roc Nation Sports as clients. Other Burkhardt clients who are expected to join Roc Nation include Broncos LB Bradley Chubb, Chiefs DE Frank Clark and Rams TE Tyler Higbee, among others. Burkhardt, who was one of the founders of Select Sports Group, joined ICM’s sports division in July ’21, but he was not part of CAA’s acquisition of ICM, which was completed last week.
