ESPN wins rights to World Lacrosse Championship

ESPN has secured domestic broadcast rights for the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship, which begins next week. All 107 games will be available on ESPN+, and six will air live across ESPN’s cable properties. ESPN2 will carry the tournament opener between the U.S. and Canada -- the two nations have faced each other in each of the last six World Championship finals going back to 1998 -- as well as both semifinal games and the gold medal match, with ESPNU airing two additional games. TSN will broadcast seven live games in Canada, with additional coverage on TSN+.
