Pro Football Hall of Fame plans "full capacity" enshrinement for August

The Pro Football HOF will begin selling tickets on Friday for this August’s enshrinement event “with the expectation we can welcome attendance at full capacity,” spokesperson Rich Desrosierssaid.

Ohio currently remains subject to strict limits on public gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this is the latest sign that the NFL and the rest of the football world believe those restrictions will abate in time for a return to normalcy, writes SBJ's Ben Fischer. Desrosiers continued: "That decision is based, in part, on encouraging news from the national and state governments and health officials regarding progress related to distributing COVID-19 vaccines, along with the projection from President Biden on Tuesday that all adults could be vaccinated by the end of May.”

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday. This year’s class includes Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson, John Lynch, Tom Flores, Alan Faneca, Bill Nunn, Drew Pearson and Charles Woodson
