Report: Fox paying under $500M for World Cup rights

Fox reportedly secured a below-market extension for U.S. English-language FIFA World Cup rights through 2026, with sources saying FIFA granted the deal to avoid legal or commercial fallout after moving the 2022 Qatar tournament from summer to late fall; experts believe the rights could be worth up to three times what Fox is paying.
