PGA Tour EVP Tyler Dennis said the Tour has been “communicating very regularly with all of our sponsors” as it looks to finalize its framework agreement with the PIF. In an interview with “Golf Today,” Dennis was asked whether PGA Tour sponsors “may be hesitant to re-up” given the framework agreement. Dennis said the framework agreement is “something that we’re working on hard.” Dennis: “We’re communicating and ultimately, we’re going to get it right. We’re going to get it right for our sponsors, we’re going to get it right for our fans and certainly the communities we play in. We’re very confident about our product moving forward (and) we’re fully sponsored” ( “Golf Today,” Golf Channel, 8/7).
