Hines
Michael Harrison
Senior Managing Director
Houston-based Hines, one of the world’s biggest real estate investment firms, made its bones two decades ago as the developer of Petco Park and its 100-acre Ballpark District. Michael Harrison has spent 34 years at Hines, which has had an eventful summer: It wrapped up the North Loop neighborhood development adjacent to Target Field that includes 350,000 square feet of office space, 350 luxury and 100 short-term rental residences, restaurants and a public green space. Hines also gained approval by the St. Petersburg City Council for the Tampa Bay Rays’ 65-acre mixed-use redevelopment project and was selected by the USL League One Union Omaha to oversee development of an 18-acre mixed-use project anchored by a $60 million stadium. — D.B.
