Michael Cantor oversees Sterling Project Development’s relationship with Titletown, the Green Bay Packers’ 45-acre, $350 million-plus mixed-use development and one of SPD’s first major sports venue-adjacent projects. SPD, created and owned by former Mets owners, the Wilpon family, partnered with Oak View Group on the UBS Arena project, which includes a retail village that will soon open, and is developing (with Related Companies) the 23 acres surrounding (and including) New York City FC’s new stadium project in nearby Queens. Though SPD’s contribution to that project isn’t sports-related, Cantor is serving as the point person, ensuring seamless flow between the stadium and the development. — B.M.
