MLB and Nickelodeon’s “Rubble & Crew” collaboration premieres today at 11 a.m., featuring Yankees star Aaron Judge. The “Paw Patrol” spin-off show‘s newest episode, “The Crew Builds a Ballpark,” includes nods to classic baseball and sports films and serves as part of MLB’s larger foray into children’s programming.
Judge’s wife Samantha and two dachshunds Penny and Gus are also featured in the episode, with Samantha serving as Penny’s voice. MLB and Nickelodeon worked closely together to ensure accuracy, including exact dimensions of the ballpark, and helping animators mimic Judge’s unique swing in the show.
