Bill Haslam and his wife Crissy Haslam -- that is aiming to bring a WNBA expansion team to Nashville. The bid is “likely extremely personal” to Parker, a Tennessee alum, as the proposed team name is the Tennessee Summitt named after the late coach Pat Summitt . Parker “remains one of the more important figures in sports who doesn't get the credit she deserves.” Her on-court accomplishments, business resume, and broadcasting history shows that she “remains one of the most impactful athletes this country has ever produced.”
