The Eagles will host their championship parade today in Philadelphia as fans will “swarm the team’s parade route from the Avenue of the Arts downtown to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.” The festivities begin at 11am ET near Lincoln Financial Field, moving “north on Broad Street to City Hall and then west along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.” The team ceremony is “set to start at 2pm on the museum’s ‘Rocky’ steps.” Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker and other city leaders encouraged fans to “stay safe and keep the mood festive for the Valentine’s Day dinner crowd.” City schools are “closed for the parade, along with city courts and other agencies” (AP, 2/14).
