Duke F Cooper Flagg, UConn G Paige Bueckers and USC G JuJu Watkins are the featured athletes in Gatorade’s new March Madness campaign dropping today. The featured spot, dubbed “The Take,” is part of the revival of the “Is It In You?” effort from Gatorade. Flagg, Bueckers and Watkins narrate throughout the spot. The campaign was created by Wasserman (the old Laundry Service division), which serves as Gatorade’s social agency of record. Beyond the TV spot, the brand will be releasing a limited-edition Gatorade Squeeze Bottle in collaboration with Watkins. Gatorade Global Head of Sports Marketing Jeff Kearney helped spearhead the process from the brand side. Flagg, who is repped by CAA Sports, back in October became Gatorade’s first men’s college basketball endorser. Watkins, repped by Klutch Sports, also joined in October, while Bueckers (a Wasserman client) joined this time last year.
