The T’Wolves and Lynx have announced a multiyear extension to their partnership with U.S. Bank, who has been a corporate sponsor since the T’Wolves’ inception in 1989. As part of the partnership, U.S. Bank will sponsor the new U.S. Bank Backcourt Club at Target Center, which will offer an upscale bar and lounge experience, including exclusive food and beverage offerings for members and a grab and go market. T’Wolves and Lynx SVP/Corporate Partnerships David King cited aligned values as a reason for the continued partnership through the years, particularly through philanthropy.
“To serve more underserved communities is something that they start every conversation with,” King said.
U.S. Bank will also become the sixth Lynx Changemaker partner, a part of the Lynx Changemakers platform, an initiative that champions women’s sports, empowers young girls in Minnesota and supports the next generation of female leaders. Additionally, U.S. Bank will continue to work with the T’Wolves and Lynx on their Future Program, which seeks to renovate indoor basketball courts in the Twin Cities.
“We’re excited that they’ve committed to investing more,” King said.
