Chevrolet, a Major League Baseball league sponsor since 2005 with nearly a dozen team-level deals, activates as a presenting sponsor of both the All-Star and World Series MVPs. The brand’s marketing efforts are led by Steve Majoros, who joined GM in 2014 after 25 years at Campbell Ewald. Chevrolet is also one of NASCAR’s original equipment manufacturers and increasingly is using sports to market its electric vehicles. Chevy positioned its Blazer EV SS as the official pace car of the Daytona 500 in February and leaned on Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suarez to promote the vehicle.
