SeatGeek has integrated with ChatGPT, turning the LLM into another sales point for the ticketing provider’s primary and secondary marketplaces. This fan-facing deployment for SeatGeek will bring more external visibility for rights holders. SeatGeek is the ticketing partner for teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLS.
A ChatGPT user can now prompt for events with sentiments like “I’m looking for cheap tickets to tonight’s Cleveland Cavaliers game” or “help me find a sports deal for my family of four this weekend.” SeatGeek data and info will be pulled to help ChatGPT answer the prompts. SeatGeek’s other fan experience capabilities -- like its Deal Score rating system for tickets and its view-from-seat features -- will also be visible for fans using OpenAI’s signature product. Once the user finds their best option, the transaction will finish on the SeatGeek platform.
Last month, SeatGeek integrated with Spotify to help with concert and event visibility on that platform.
