The Falcons released their “reimagined uniform look” Thursday morning, with a “somewhat bold update” ahead of the 2026 season, according to Rod Beard of the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION. The primary home jerseys will be “red with white numbers and white pants,” and the primary road options will be “white tops with red numbers.” Both will be “worn with black helmets.” NFL teams are allowed to change their uniforms every five years. This update was “a yearslong process, with collaboration from the Falcons, NFL, Nike and other stakeholders.” The most recent uniform redesign was in 2020, when the team returned to black as the primary home uniform top, with “ATL” on the front, above the number. The primary road jerseys were white, and an alternate jersey had a red-and-black gradient and black pants with each top. The new uniforms also “include some nods to the original 1966 Falcons jerseys with accentuated silver striping along the pants” (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 4/2).
