COLLEGES

The University of Toledo named BRIAN LUTZ interim athletic director.

Washington State University removed the interim tag for JON HAARLOW, promoting him to athletic director.

EXECUTIVE SEARCH

CSA Search & Consulting named BRIAN CLARK vice president of strategic partnerships. Clark has served as executive director of philanthropy with the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University since 2020.

FACILITIES

Oak View Group hired SHAZMAH HAKIM as chief legal officer and BECKY COLWELL as president of programming and content; and promoted MARK SHULMAN to executive vice president, programming and content, of OVG East. Hakim held the same post at Remington Lodging and Hospitality. Colwell was general manager of Halo Sports Entertainment.

LIVE EVENTS

Hudson Yards Experiences hired LEE WEINBERG as chief operating officer and ERIC FISHER as general counsel. Weinberg led financial planning and analysis and business operations at Madison Square Garden Entertainment. Fisher was deputy general counsel at Madison Square Garden Entertainment.

MARKETING

Excel Sports Management announced multiple hires: NEAL ROSENSHEIN as basketball agent; JIBS HARRELL as coordinator, properties; SAM LANGFORD as manager of analytics and brand marketing; COLLEEN QUINN as coordinator, events; and GIANNI RAMOS and ZOE TAYLOR as coordinator, office operations.

MKTG Sports + Entertainment hired LAURENCE GEGA as vice president, group creative director. Gega was an executive creative director at Deloitte Digital.

Range Sports named BEN BERCHUCK senior vice president of media rights consulting. Berchuck was vice president and head of content partnerships and acquisitions for FanDuel Sports Network.

Underdog & Co. hired STEPHANIE MARCIANO as chief strategy officer, effective May 1. Marciano was head of brand and sports marketing for Ally Financial.

MEDIA

ESPN hired JOSH OSHINSKY as senior director of ESPN original content development. Oshinsky was head of global content at PepsiCo.

MOTORSPORTS

Formula E named WILL BROWN chief commercial officer, effective July. Brown was senior vice president and global head of motorsport at Legends Global.

MULTITEAM ORGANIZATIONS

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment hired LACY EKERT as chief commercial officer, effective May 1, and CURRAN RACLIN as senior vice president of strategy and analytics. Ekert was chief partnership officer for the Cincinnati Bengals. Raclin was senior vice president of fan engagement, analytics and research at the NHL.

SOCCER

AMB Sports and Entertainment named DEANDRA DUGGANS vice president, chief business officer of NWSL Atlanta 2028. Duggans was chief marketing officer with the Las Vegas Aces.

TECHNOLOGY

Genius Sports named TONY MARLOW its chief marketing officer. Marlow held the same position at LG Ad Solutions.

FanCompass added RICK BARAKAT, deputy athletic director and chief revenue officer at the University of North Carolina; ANNA SPINKS, director of marketing for the Class AA Amarillo Sod Poodles; and ADAM ENGLISH, general manager and chief operating officer of the Class AAA Nashville Sounds to its Premier Partner Panel.
