COLLEGES

The Big 12 Conference promoted NICK BOWES to chief operating officer; KAURI BLACK to vice president of broadcast and emerging platforms; ANDY LOUTHAIN to vice president of compliance and governance; KATIE RISTOW to vice president of brand and marketing; KEENA LYNCH to assistant vice president of content and digital media; and BRIAN THORNTON to chief basketball officer.

FACILITIES

Oak View Group named MICHELE POWELL general manager for operations at the University of Kansas. Powell was vice president of stadium operations and event development for Haslam Sports Group.

GOLF

The PGA of America named PHIL ANDERSON chief operating officer. Anderson was general manager and chief operating officer at Hazeltine National Golf Club.

Range Sports hired BRANDON DE LA CRUZ as director of DTC operations. De la Cruz was head of strategic partnerships at 8AM Golf.

LEGAL

McDermott Will & Schulte named HENRY SMOKLER partner, working with its transactions and media, sports and entertainment practices. Smokler was chief legal and risk officer at the PGA of America.

Nixon Peabody announced that partner NICOLEAS MAYNE and managing partner SONIA NAYAK will lead its entertainment and sports practice team; and hired LOREN SHOKES and SAMANTHA WAINAINA as associates.

LIVE EVENTS

Legends Global hired PAWEL BRZEZINSKI as executive vice president of premium hospitality experience. Brzezinski was chief operating officer at Jean-Georges Management.

MARKETING

IMG promoted BARNEY FRANCIS to chief business officer.

Intersport hired MORGAN HOWE as senior vice president, head of growth, and promoted DREW RUSSELL to president of content and live events. Howe was senior vice president and head of partnership strategy at United Entertainment Group.

MikeWorldWide promoted SAL DELLA MONICA to chief commercial officer; SARA PUTNUM to vice president; AMANDA RUPPELLI to group vice president; TONI SETARO to senior account director; and AIDA NAHAS to associate account executive. Formula E named WILL BROWN chief commercial officer, effective July. Brown was senior vice president and global head of motorsport at Legends Global.

AMB Sports and Entertainment hired KIANA MIREE as vice president of retail and merchandising. Miree was chief merchandising officer at Spanx.

New Balance promoted TRACY KNAUER to senior vice president of North America.

Victory Live named KATE HOWARD chief revenue officer. Howard was chief commercial officer at Eventellect.

AIM Sports Group hired NICOLE VARGAS POLSTER as director of SoCal Cup tournament operations.

i9 Sports named RON SHIMEK president and JEREMY OLIVER vice president of franchise operations. Shimek was president of Mr. Handyman. Oliver was vice president of operations for Perspire Sauna Studio.
