Major League Soccer has signed World Wide Technology as a new technology sponsor with an eye toward delivering more personalized fan experiences as part of the larger MLS 3.0 vision.
WWT will make its Advanced Technology Center and AI Proving Ground solutions available to MLS to quickly innovate, enabling quick testing and learning before scaling across clubs and at the league office. WWT technology will be applied to commercial priorities used to help league sponsors better activate to drive new revenue.
MLS 3.0 is the new strategic plan for the post-World Cup phase of development with a newly aligned fall-to-spring schedule and an AI-forward infrastructure, with adoption of agentic tools and the enhancement of its Fan Genome intelligence platform.
St. Louis-headquartered WWT has one prior sports league sponsorship, with the PGA Tour, as well as deals with individual golfers, MLS club St. Louis SC, the NHL’s St. Louis Blues, MLB’s St. Louis Cardinals and a Missouri motorsports track.
