The NCAA appointed University of Tennessee at Martin Vice Chancellor and Athletic Director KURT MCGUFFIN to the Division I FCS Oversight Committee and Marquette Vice President and Athletic Director MIKE BROEKER to the Men’s Basketball Oversight Committee.
Oregon State hired KEVIN GRIFFIN as its athletic director, effective July 6. Griffin was associate vice president of brand engagement, services and partnerships and associate athletic director of business strategy at Ohio State.

Huntington Bank hired KELBY KRAUSS as senior vice president and director of sports and partnership communications.
FOOTBALL
The Arizona Cardinals named JORDAN JONES senior director of social media and emerging platforms. Jones was senior director of social and influencer marketing at the NWSL.
The Kansas City Chiefs promoted MATT KENNY to executive vice president and chief operating officer and BRANDON HAMILTON to project executive, facilities development.
LABOR & AGENTS
The Team named RYAN GORDON senior manager of social media strategy, women’s sports and The Collective; and TOM WELLS associate director of environmental impact. Gordon was vice president of content strategy for Unrivaled. Wells was a senior consultant for sustainability consultancy Think Beyond.

Foley Hoag added ALAIN MATHIEU as partner and chair of the firm’s new sports and entertainment group. Mathieu was interim general counsel of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority.

Playfly Sports named JOHN DOOLEY general counsel. Dooley was general counsel for Diamond Baseball Holdings.
Sportfive named DAN ROSSOMONDO to its North American leadership team. Rossomondo was chief commercial officer at MotoGP.

BZZR named BRETT WEITZ chief executive officer. Weitz was global head of content, talent and brand sales at X.

Tepper Sports & Entertainment hired ROSE BARRE as vice president of ticket sales, service and operations. Barre was executive director of sales, services and business strategies for the New York Yankees.

The Players Alliance named JAMIL NORTHCUTT executive director and CEO. Northcutt was deputy director of Athletes.org.

Nashville Soccer Club hired LUCAS REID as vice president of corporate partnerships. Reid was chief revenue officer for Major League Rugby.
Oklahoma City’s forthcoming USL Championship club, set to begin play in 2028, named SEAD KARASELIMOVIC sporting director and VANESSA REID vice president of partnerships and branding.
SPORTS COMMISSIONS
Florida Citrus Sports promoted SIMON DOVER to chief financial and administrative officer and NICK STEPP to senior director of finance, and moved MAGGIE ROBERTS to manager of brand marketing.
The Orange Bowl Committee promoted MIKE LIOTTA to vice president of marketing and communications and TYLER HEINKEL to vice president of ticket sales, strategy and services.
The Peach Bowl named DAVID EPPS chief executive officer, succeeding GARY STOKAN, who had led the organization since 1998 and retired in August.

Major League Volleyball’s Columbus Fury hired ERIC SCHULZE as president and general manager. Schulze was director of new builds and clubs for League One Volleyball.
