AD AGE’s Asa Hiken reports pop culture network Uproxx is “partnering with Uninterrupted,” the media company founded by Lakers F LeBron James and business partner Maverick Carter -- a tie-up being “pitched to advertisers as a way to reach zealous fan communities at the intersection of music and sports.” A pitch deck “features James prominently in the sales material, alongside other athletes and pop culture figures.” A source said that pricing “starts at a mid-six-figure level for social activations around specific cultural moments and increases for larger and more premium takeovers” (AD AGE 6/24).

NUMBER ONE: In San Antonio, Raul Lopez noted Spurs C Victor Wembanyama appeared in Louis Vuitton’s first look at its Spring-Summer 2027 men’s collection, “featuring in promotional images.” The images show Wembanyama “wearing a dark pinstripe suit paired with an open-collar white shirt and carrying a Louis Vuitton bag featuring a colorful reinterpretation of the luxury brand’s signature Damier pattern.” Wembanyama became a House Ambassador for the brand in 2024 and “made Louis Vuitton a staple of his gameday wardrobe” (SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 6/23).

PERSONAL CARE: In London, Ben Rumsby reported tennis player Emma Raducanu has launched an “eco-friendly vegan deodorant.” Raducanu unveiled a “range of personal hygiene products” on Tuesday known as “The Garden of England” collection. It has been created in conjunction with Wild, a cosmetics company that describes itself as “the UK’s No 1 refillable bathroom brand.” The company aims to “reduce plastic waste and also boasts of being vegan.” Raducanu became Wild’s first global sponsor in September. She “does not suggest that she is vegan in the campaign” (London TELEGRAPH, 6/23).
