Longstanding Paralympics supporter Ottobock has signed a sponsorship deal with LA28, making the company the official prosthetics, orthotics and wheelchair service provider of the Games. The German medical technology company is making a bigger investment in LA28, signing on as an official supporter, the lowest of the organizing committee’s three tiers of sponsorship.

Ottobock has supported every Paralympics since 1988, running repair and maintenance workshops to help athletes with their prostheses and chairs during the Games. In the Milan Cortina Games earlier this year, it staffed all three villages and six venues.

It is the fifth new sponsor LA28 has announced this year.
