The Univ. of Memphis athletic department has signed a long-term renewal with Learfield, extending a 25-year relationship that sees Learfield’s Tiger Sports Properties continue representing Memphis’ multimedia and sponsorship rights. The renewal, which carries through the 2031-32 athletics season, focuses on revenue generation and enhanced student-athlete deal-making opportunities. Under the renewed partnership, Memphis Athletics and Tiger Sports Properties will further capitalize on Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, which is now university-owned and has undergone substantial renovations. The upgraded facility offers revenue generation opportunities, both in-season through asset entitlement rights and on-field logo sponsorship, and year-round through other events. Memphis and Tiger Sports Properties will also continue to drive new revenue by leveraging Learfield’s data and digital expertise for branded content. Tiger Sports Properties will also add a pair of new NIL-dedicated staff members as part of the renewed deal (Learfield).
