Konami Digital Entertainment, the MLSPA and OneTeam Partners revealed that MLS players will be featured in the new eFootball video game franchise through a multiyear group licensing agreement. The deal will grant Konami the right to feature the names, numbers, images and likenesses for MLSPA members in the game. OneTeam, the group player licensing partner of the union, facilitated the deal. eFootball is a free-to-play soccer simulation platform that will launch worldwide on console and PC formats this fall, with iOS and Android to follow soon after. Additionally, Konami unveiled 11 MLS players who will join the roster of eFootball ambassadors (MLSPA).
