The NFL is "appealing Deshaun Watson's six-game suspension." NFL VP/Communications Brian McCarthy said the league "notified the NFLPA that it will appeal" the decision by Sue L. Robinson and "filed its brief this afternoon." The league's statement also noted NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell "will determine who will hear the appeal" (TWITTER.com, 8/3).
