Sports blog Deadspin editor Will Leitch has compiled reports of "various scandals" involving ESPN personalities for a new book, titled "God Save the Fan," due out from HarperCollins on January 22, according to the N.Y. POST's Page Six. The book includes "bizarre off-air behavior by Chris Berman, Scott Van Pelt and Sean Salisbury, among others." After Leitch reported several of the incidents on Deadspin, ESPN circulated a memo "banning any mention of the site on its shows." ESPN declined to comment (N.Y. POST, 1/1). Leitch was on ESPN Radio with Van Pelt in July ( THE DAILY ).
