The ESPN Sports Poll, a service of TNS, asked sports fans if they have played in a fantasy sports league within the past year. Those interested in the NFL who are sports fans were then asked if they have played fantasy football. Out of some 10,202 respondents, 9% said they played in a fantasy sports league during the first half of '09, and 59.3% of sports fans interested in the NFL said they played fantasy football in the past year.
