MLB teams are averaging 31,243 fans per game through the All-Star break, up 5.1% from the same period last year. The Rangers are leading the AL with 43,608 fans per game, which ranks second among all MLB clubs. That figure is up 18.4% from the halfway mark last season. The Tigers are seeing the biggest gains among AL clubs at the gate, up 27.0% at Comerica Park. The Orioles (+21.3%) and Blue Jays (+20.8%) are also seeing strong upticks in attendance. Despite remaining in contention for a playoff spot, the Indians' attendance at Progressive Field is down 8.8% to date. The Twins are seeing the sharpest drop among AL clubs, down 10.9% at Target Field. Listed below is team-by-team attendance for the AL through July 7, with comparisons to the same period last season.
