Fox this fall will move the “Fox NFL Kickoff” studio show from FS1 to Fox, where it will "lead into the network’s highly rated 'Fox NFL Sunday,'" according to John Ourand in this week's SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL. Network affiliates "have been asked to clear an extra hour on Sunday mornings so that Fox’s NFL programming can start" at 11:00am ET. A Fox exec said that the net has "started shopping the show to advertisers and is in discussions with several clients about a presenting sponsorship to the show." Execs "have not made any decisions about the show’s cast or format except that it will be separate talent from its well-known 'Fox NFL Sunday' team." Any new talent "could include a name personality." Sources said that Fox "was talking with Colin Cowherd about a possible role in the show." The extra hour on Fox "will add to an already crowded Sunday morning field that has ESPN, NFL Network and CBS Sports Network producing NFL pregame shows" in the 11:00am hour (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 7/20 issue).
