FS1 Celebrates Most-Watched Week In Network History On Back Of MLB Playoffs

Fox Sports is crowing about last week’s FS1 ratings, which was the highest-rated and most-watched week in the network’s history. Fox Sports employees were greeted with messages at their elevator banks this morning documenting the feat from Oct. 10-16, plus bagels, donuts and coffee. Fox Sports National Networks President Jamie Horowitz and Fox Sports Production President John Entz outlined how the big ratings from the MLB playoffs -- Dodgers-Cubs NLCS Game 2 set an audience record for FS1 with 7.3 million viewers -- is helping the whole schedule. Last week, several studio shows also set viewer records, including “The Herd,” “Undisputed,” “Garbage Time with Katie Nolan” and “Fox Sports Live with Jay and Dan.” The memo said, “At FS1, we believe in premier live events and engaging personalities and last week we saw sports fans respond to both in record numbers.” This also marks the first time FS1 has beat ESPN in weekly primetime and total-day audience.
