SI said the recent launch of its ’17 Swimsuit issue generated more than 36.5 million video views across various digital platforms, a nearly 200% increase from last year’s Swimsuit debut and the best single week for SI video views in company history. Roughly three-quarters of the video consumption occurred on SI’s channels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. SI also recorded more than 215.7 million page views on its SI.com/Swimsuit microsite, and all-time highest in average time spent. SI Group Digital Editor Mark McClusky called the totals a “validation of our strategy to deliver more -- and more unique -- video and social content to audiences wherever they might be.”
