Pittsburgh-based mobile app developer YinzCam has partnered with the Braves to create new apps for The Battery Atlanta and the suites at SunTrust Park. YinzCam technology is embedded in a series of 15 kiosks with touch-screen displays located throughout The Battery, providing wayfinding and directories of vendors in the mixed-use development. The company is also powering an app for tablets in each suite in the ballpark’s SunTrust Club, Delta Sky 360 Club and Terrace Club that allows for control of televisions as well as contact with guest relations. Both products also will be used for other events at the ballpark and The Battery beyond Braves games, and exist separately from MLBAM’s Ballpark app catering specifically to the in-venue baseball fan experience. YinzCam has developed team apps for the majority of NFL and NBA teams, and those two leagues are each investors in the company.
