Hendrick Motorsports Generates Positive Buzz On Digital With Paint Scheme Unveiling

Hendrick Motorsports earned solid buzz from last Thursday’s ’18 Daytona 500 paint scheme unveiling event in Uptown Charlotte, and the team says the digital metrics from it and NASCAR are backing that up. HMS is in for a big ’18 with two new drivers in Alex Bowman and William Byron on top of a car number change for a current driver in Chase Elliott, and the team leveraged that to hold an event at the Charlotte Convention Center where it rolled out four new car designs for the following season simultaneously. The team said that translated into the most page views in a single day on HendrickMotorsports.com in HMS history, surpassing the day when Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced his retirement in April. That included a photo gallery of the ’18 schemes from NAPA Auto Parts, Axalta, Nationwide and Lowe’s that garnered 700,000 views Thursday night and is now at more than 1.25 million. Additionally, NASCAR said the photo gallery on its official website garnered more than 2.1 million views as of yesterday.
