Orlando City announced its "long-awaited training facility" will be at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, a change "from its previous site at Lake Nona," according to Jordan Culver of PRO SOCCER USA. The park is the Astros' former Spring Training complex and "will be fully renovated to be permanent training facility" of Orlando City and the NWSL Orlando Pride. It is slated to open in July. The 20-acre facility "will feature four full-size grass fields, a fitness, training and recovery center as well as a film-review room along with a players’ lounge and dining area." Orlando City and the NWSL Orlando Pride "will continue training at Sylvan Lake Park through the beginning" of the '19 season. The club "did not provide any details about what precipitated the end of its agreement to build a training facility in Lake Nona" ( PROSOCCERUSA.com, 11/1 ).
