The shoe was "part of a new collection featuring designs inspired by the Harlem Renaissance." The shoe in question was "all-white and part of the 'Uncaged' line -- it immediately drew criticism from consumers for its color and name" (ADAGE.com, 2/4).
LOOKIN' GOOD: Rockets F P.J. Tucker "collaborated with Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti on a sneaker that was released in December," and the his "latest collaboration, a shirt from New York designers Ovadia & Sons, will go on sale this weekend." Tucker has "long been a fan of the brand," and was "thrilled when the company approached him with the idea of designing something for the label" (AP, 2/1).
