MLB has reached a licensing agreement with Rocket League, the vehicular soccer video game published by Psyonix. The deal involves a variety of MLB-themed premium licensed downloadable content in the game, including cap toppers, flags and player banners. The MLB Fan Pack for Rocket League will be sold beginning Monday for $2.99. Rocket League has built a loyal following blending gaming elements of both sports and racing. The deal, developed out of MLB’s Games & VR group led by Senior VP Jamie Leece, continues a push by the league to insert its brand and IP into other areas of pop culture.
