The Angels have signed a multiyear deal with California-based MemorialCare Health System to serve as the team's "official healthcare partner," according to Emily Rasmussen of the Long Beach PRESS-TELEGRAM. The deal "aims to focus on positively impacting the health and wellness of Angels fans" in L.A. and Orange counties. Community outreach will include "fundraisers at Angel Stadium, MemorialCare sponsorship of the annual Angels 5K and Health Expo, and volunteer days at local charities with Angels and MemorialCare employees" (Long Beach PRESS-TELEGRAM, 4/17).
