Suns Planning New $25-50M, Privately-Financed Practice Facility

The Suns as part of their $230M renovation deal for Talking Stick Resort Arena "plan to build a state-of-the-art training facility" northeast of downtown Phoenix, according to Duane Rankin of the ARIZONA REPUBLIC. The practice facility is "expected to cost" $25-50M and "will be privately financed." The facility is set to include "new offices, private health and training amenities" and two practice courts, which the Suns "will share" with the WNBA Phoenix Mercury. The Suns' current practice facility is "inside of Talking Stick Resort Arena." The Suns "hope to begin construction later this summer," and have the facility completed during the '20-21 season (AZCENTRAL.com, 5/3).
