Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce announced that he’s buying a building in Kansas City to serve as a space for inner-city youth to study science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The new STEM building will be part of Kelce’s 87 & Running foundation, which is dedicated to providing opportunities to disadvantaged youth. Kelce, who has made five Pro Bowls since being drafted by the Chiefs in 2013, announced his new project shortly after he signed a four-year, $57 million extension with the Chiefs last week.
