NBA Players Will Host Virtual Training Sessions With Five-Star Basketball

The NBPA and Five-Star Basketball will hold a virtual camp Aug. 24–26 for boys and girls age 9-17 to work on basketball and life skills.

Campers will attend three-hour sessions and connect over video with current and past NBA players such as Tobias Harris, Hassan Whiteside and Tony Allen.

The camp will be streamed on CoStar and will also feature coaches and skill trainers, as well as appearances from James Wiseman and Cole Anthony, who are both expected to be top picks in this year’s NBA draft.

In addition to on-court skills, participants will learn about injury prevention techniques from Hospital for Special Surgery clinicians. Indiana Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon, who is also an elected VP of the NBPA, will teach virtual campers about financial literacy.
