After announcing a Los Angeles-based expansion team in July, the National Women’s Soccer League is now planning to add a club in Sacramento, according to The Athletic .
It is not clear whether the new team will join Racing Louisville FC as NWSL newcomers in 2021, or if it will wait until its Southern California counterpart begins play in 2022.
