Washington State AD Pat Chun "has not interviewed" for the vacant AD job at Kansas and "doesn't intend to," despite a recent report he had become a candidate, according to a source cited by Theo Lawson of the Spokane SPOKESMAN-REVIEW. According to a tweet from Mike Vernon, a Kansas graduate who formerly worked at Bleacher Report and the S.F. Chronicle, Chun "'impressed in interviews' with Kansas and was viewed as a potential target for the Jayhawks, who are looking to replace the recently departed Jeff Long." Lawson noted it is "unclear if there was any communication between Chun and Kansas." But a source said that there was "never a formal interview between the parties and WSU's athletic director won't be interviewing for the position" (Spokane SPOKESMAN-REVIEW, 3/30).
