Electronic Arts has announced that the upcoming edition of its revived golf video game franchise, EA Sports PGA Tour, will be the exclusive playable home of the Masters tournament and the Augusta National Golf Club.
EA Sports PGA Tour: Road to the Masters will be the only video game that will allow fans to compete in all four major golf championships, including the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open and the British Open Championship.
The Masters were previously featured in three EA golf titles beginning in 2011 and ending with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 in 2013. EA replaced Woods after working together for 15 years, and it hasn’t released a new edition to the franchise since Rory McIlroy PGA Tour in 2015.
Woods will also make a return to video games; he recently partnering with competitor 2K on their own PGA franchise.
