Gonzaga's Suggs creates NFT around Final Four-winning shot

Gonzaga G Jalen Suggs appeared on ESPN’s “The Jump” yesterday to announce he was entering the NBA Draft, while also announcing a new NFT he has created around his buzzer-beating shot to beat UCLA in the Final Four. Suggs said, “It’s just a great marketing opportunity, something that ... can never be replicated again." Suggs noted there is a "super cool graphic and artwork and it's a big step for me.” ESPN’s Rachel Nichols: “Any time a player can make money off of his actual work that he did in college, I'm always very happy about that too” ( “The Jump,” ESPN, 4/19). YAHOO SPORTS' Jason Owens noted Suggs' NFT auction will "also score the winner the autographed pair of game-worn shoes from Gonzaga's win over UCLA" (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 4/20).
