Braves broadcaster Francoeur to serve as analyst for NLCS on TBS

Braves TV commentator Jeff Francoeur "will serve as an analyst" on TBS' telecasts of the NLCS starting Saturday, and the Braves’ presence in the series is "coincidental to his role," according to Tim Tucker of the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION. Francoeur "also was an analyst on TBS’ coverage" of the Braves-Brewers NLDS, and TBS had chosen Francoeur to work NLDS and NLCS games "before knowing which teams would be in the series." He "will join play-by-play announcer Brian Anderson and co-analyst Ron Darling in the booth" for the Braves-Dodgers NLCS, while Lauren Shehadi "will be the in-game reporter." Francoeur worked with play-by-play announcer Don Orsillo and reporter Matt Winer on Braves-Brewers. He also "worked some non-Braves national games on TBS during the regular season." Francoeur "first called postseason games on TBS in 2019" (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 10/15).
