Pasadena police said that "authorities were looking into an assault allegation" against Dodgers P Trevor Bauer. Officials were "investigating an allegation from a woman about an incident that allegedly occurred in Pasadena on or about May 16." Court records show a woman "filed a restraining order against Bauer" yesterday. Police "have not yet presented a case to the district attorney’s office." Bauer's agent, Jon Fetterolf, "denied any wrongdoing by his client." MLB said that it was "aware of the accusation and was examining it." The Dodgers in a statement last night said, “The Dodgers were made aware of the allegations against Trevor Bauer late this afternoon and immediately contacted Major League Baseball, which will be handling this matter” (L.A. TIMES, 6/30).
