Angels broadcaster Jose Mota is leaving the team and Bally Sports West, saying the move is “totally and entirely my decision.” Mota, a "fixture on Angels television and radio broadcasts for 20 years," began working on Angels broadcasts in '02. He has worked as an "analyst on the radio broadcasts, as well as on the Angels’ Spanish-language broadcasts." Recently, he worked on the pre- and postgame shows on TV. In '21, he "began a new role working as the third member of the in-game broadcast team, working from the field level" (ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER, 2/3).
