XFL Senior VP/ Player Personnel and former Bills GM Doug Whaley, former Giants GM Jerry Reese and former Vikings GM Rick Spielman were the latest to “go through the interview process” for the Steelers' open GM position with President Art Rooney II. Rooney "has now interviewed at least 15 people" for the position. The team is "expected to name a new general manager in May" following the NFL Draft (PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE, 3/20).
