The Suns open practice Saturday at Footprint Center saw an “unofficial estimated 10,000-plus" in attendance as fans “mobbed” the event. Arena doors opened to ticketholders at 10am MT and practice began at 11, but some fans “waited since 7 a.m. to get in.” Former NBAer Cedric Ceballos interviewed some of the players such as Fs Mikal Bridgesand Cam Johnson, who "wore their retro-1990s 'sunburst' uniforms and new Nike Statement Edition uniforms," Suns GM James Jones and coach Monty Williams. The event also included "defensive and shooting drills, and ended with half-court shooting contest” (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 10/2).
