The Washington Wizards hired DeAndre Phillips as director of media relations. Phillips was director for communications for the New York Giants.

The Summit League promoted Greg Mette to director of communications and Stephanie Sabaduquia to director of championships.

The American Athletic Conference named Bill Potter senior director of communications and digital media. Potter was assistant commissioner for messaging and media for the Horizon League.

Liam Welsh

associate athletic director. Welsh was assistant athletic director at the College at Brockport.

Kentucky State University named former men’s basketball coach William Graham athletic director.

Facilities

The United Center promoted Jim Koehler to vice president and general manager, and Milan Stojakovic to vice president of hospitality strategy for Levy Restaurants, and named Joe Myhra vice president of business affairs. Myhra was vice president of ballpark operations for the Seattle Mariners.

Keeneland Race Course named Robert Elliston vice president of racing and sales. Elliston was executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Breeders’ Cup.

Football

The New York Giants promoted Corry Rush to vice president of communications, Jennifer Conley to director of corporate and football communications, and Dion Dargin to communications coordinator.

The Pittsburgh Steelers added vice president to general manager Kevin Colbert’s title and vice president of football and business administration to chief contract negotiator Omar Khan’s title. The team also promoted Mark Hart to vice president of planning and development, Bob Tyler to vice president of finance, Scott Phelps to vice president of technology, Ryan Huzjak to vice president of sales and marketing, Susan McGalla to vice president of business strategy and creative development, and Jim Sacco to vice president of stadium operations and management.

Golf

The Web.com Tour promoted Dan Glod to president effective Jan. 1. He’ll replace Bill Calfee, who will retire.

Media

The Players’ Tribune named Jared Schoenfeld vice president of brand partnership sales. Schoenfeld was managing director of new stadium partnerships and strategy for the Miami Dolphins.

Motorsports

The NHRA named Kasey Coler vice president of marketing and brand strategy. Coler was senior vice president of marketing for Professional Bull Riders.

Soccer

The Philadelphia Union promoted Dave Debusschere executive vice president and chief operating officer, Dennis Carroll to senior vice president of finance and Craig Amhaus to vice president of corporate partnerships. The club hired Jean-Paul Dardenne as senior vice president of corporate partnerships, Doug Vosik as vice president of marketing and Charlie Slonaker vice president of ticket sales and fan services.

Sporting Goods and Apparel

Nike promoted Steve Lesnard to vice president and general manager of global running and Patrick Seehafer to vice president of Europe merchandising.
