Toyota has named two executives to oversee its global Olympic sponsorship in North America.
The automaker appointed Chris Schultz, general manager of its New York and Denver regions, to become general manager of Olympic-Paralympic marketing. He reports to Ed Laukes, group vice president of marketing for Toyota North America.
Also joining the team as group manager of Olympic-Paralympic marketing: Dedra DeLilli, who built TD Ameritrade’s first sports sponsorship team and helped secure its U.S. Olympic Committee and NFL deals. She reports to Schultz.
They will lead a team that already includes Russ Koble, Olympic and partnership manager, and Colin Morisako, global strategy manager. Toyota became the International Olympic Committee’s mobility sponsor in January, and has signed separate deals with four U.S. winter national governing bodies.
